Our Story

The Haven was started in 2023 when we decided that we wanted to offer non-pharmacological treatments to patients seen at Inner Wellness to aid in physical and mental wellbeing. A float tank was purchased and The Haven was born. It has been slow moving but we do not do much in the way of advertising. We rely on our client experiences and word of mouth.

In 2025 we added an infrared sauna. We had done some research and found the benefits of infrared as well as chromotherapy. We chose the sauna we did as it has an add on for halotherapy that is also known for its health benefits specifically with the lungs and lung disorders.

In 2026, we changed from Inner Wellness to HighPointe Health and Wellness as our services continued to grow. With that change, we moved to 288 High Point Ln in East Peoria. The new building gave us a larger space to work with, which has allowed us to be more creative with the kinds of health and wellness opportunities we can offer through The Haven. The easier interstate access has also been a nice added bonus for many of our clients.

Our facilities are maintained by the staff at High Pointe Health & Wellness. We do not employ anyone to answer phones or maintain facilities. We ask that if you are interested in our services and have questions that cannot be answered from the site to please send a message through the Contact Us page. This is well monitored and responses are usually within 24 hours. We welcome you to our facilities and hope you have an amazing experience.
